This comprehensive course splits your time between classroom learning and practical range exercises, ensuring a balanced approach to both theory and practice.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
One of the first lessons covers the selection of the appropriate firearm for concealed carry. You'll learn about the various types of handguns suitable for CCW and how to select the best one based on your personal needs and legal requirements. Additionally, we discuss the importance of using the correct ammunition to ensure safety and effectiveness.

LEGAL AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Understanding the ethics and legalities surrounding concealed carry is crucial. Our course delves deep into Maryland's specific laws regarding firearms, including regulations that govern the use of force. You will gain essential knowledge about the legal implications of carrying and using a firearm, helping you to navigate the responsibilities that come with CCW.

RANGE TIME
The practical component of our course involves hands-on training at the shooting range. Here, you will apply what you've learned in the classroom in a controlled and supervised environment. This part of the course is designed to build your confidence and proficiency with your firearm, ensuring that you leave our course not only knowledgeable but also skilled in handling and operating your concealed weapon safely.

"Working with S&T Tactical has been a great experience. I have taken a few classes with them and have been completely happy. The wear and carry class were a great experience and I learned a lot and gained a lot more confidence in myself and the handling of carrying loaded weapon.
I have also worked with S&T one on one working on the range and practicing different techniques, how to be accurate and precise when shooting. Shawn has been very helpful and has a great teaching ability along with a great deal of knowledge on all types of firearms and the proper handling of them. He takes the time that is needed to teach you how to properly hold and present a firearm along with just the basics of how to properly maintain your firearm.
Tammy is a great asset to the team as she offers the same great training ability along with great knowledge on how to handle all paperwork that goes along with getting your permit. Tammy also adds a level of confidence to the class and range by providing a comfort level to women who would like to carry. I have personally experienced woman and men who are not quite comfortable at the beginning of the class and by the end of the class are truly in a comfort zone.
S&T also works with two gentleman who are a father son team that bring military, and swat/police experiences to the classroom and range. I personally believe that you do get your money's worth by working along with S&T because in my experience that there no one quite like the instructors. There are instructors in this industry that do not offer the level of experience and or allow the proper time to do the simplest thing such as how to properly hold a firearm.
