MD WEAR AND CARRY COURSE
Looking to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry permit? The 16-hour class is a crucial step in the process and covers important topics such as safe firearm storage, Maryland firearms law, grip and stance, situational awareness, physical preparation, and the significance of regular training. This comprehensive program is conducted over two days and will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry and handle firearms safely and responsibly.
DEFENSE HANDGUN COURSE
For those who have completed the Maryland Wear and Carry class, the next step in firearm training is defensive handgun. This advanced program covers skills such as engaging multiple targets, shooting while moving, using barriers, shooting from a downed position, and drawing from concealment. To participate, students must bring a weapon, 400 rounds of ammunition, a good holster, and at least two magazines. This training equips individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle and carry firearms safely and confidently in defensive situations.
RECERIFICATION COURSE
To renew a Maryland Wear and Carry permit, the applicant must complete a renewal application and pay the required fee to the Maryland State Police. In addition, the applicant must provide evidence of completion of a firearms training course that meets the requirements for renewal. The training course must have been completed within the two years immediately preceding the expiration of the current permit.

Tammy is a great asset to the team as she offers the same great training ability along with great knowledge on how to handle all paperwork that goes along with getting your permit. Tammy also adds a level of confidence to the class and range by providing a comfort level to women who would like to carry. I have personally experienced woman and men who are not quite comfortable at the beginning of the class and by the end of the class are truly in a comfort zone.
S&T also works with two gentleman who are a father son team that bring military, and swat/police experiences to the classroom and range. I personally believe that you do get your money's worth by working along with S&T because in my experience that there no one quite like the instructors. There are instructors in this industry that do not offer the level of experience and or allow the proper time to do the simplest thing such as how to properly hold a firearm.
